BioCycles Pro generates continuous biorhythm charts based on individual birth dates. It supports the creation of user-defined groups consisting of any number of individuals, e.g., members of a sports team, and plots biorhythms charts for the group as a whole.
Biorhythms begin at birth and continue unabated until death. They consist of three major or primary "traditional" curves, physical, emotional, and intellectual (mental), that recur at intervals of 23, 28, and 33 days respectively. There are also four lesser known minor or secondary "new age" curves, intuitive, creative (aesthetic), self awareness, and spiritual, that recur at intervals of 38, 43, 48, and 53 days. All curves cross the zero axis at the start, end, and halfway point of each cyclic interval. Axis crossings represent points of maximum change and are termed critical days. Above the zero axis, the curves are positive and represent improved vitality, well being and alertness. Below the axis, the curves are negative and represent diminished capacities.
Traditional double-critical days (where two primary curves cross the axis at the same point during the same 24-hour period), and rare triple-critical days (where three curves cross together on the same day) deserve extra vigilance as they indicate times when one may be prone to accidents or errors of judgment. An even greater number of simultaneous critical crossings are possible when considering both primary and secondary curves. The effects of biorhythms vary from person to person. They are generally most noticeable during times of stress. By keeping track of your biorhythms and comparing them with day-to-day experiences, you can learn to understand their effects and use that knowledge to improve your life.
